Maithil Vikas Pratishthan is committed to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Mithila. We organise cultural programmes, support traditional arts, encourage the Maithili language and work towards keeping our age-old traditions alive for younger generations.
We promote traditional Madhubani painting and other folk art forms by supporting artists, organising training sessions and creating platforms to showcase this unique art heritage.
We organise cultural programmes, festivals and events to celebrate Mithila’s heritage, including traditional dance, music and folk performances, and encourage community participation.
We support the promotion of the Maithili language and literature, encouraging young generations to learn, read and take pride in their linguistic and literary heritage.
We support and organise traditional rituals, religious programmes and community gatherings that reflect the spiritual and cultural values of Mithila.
Mithila Bhavan is a community hub for cultural, social and educational activities. It hosts a primary health centre, education programs, skill development initiatives and a yoga centre, bringing people together for the holistic development of the Mithila community.
