Registration and Recognition
MVP was established on January 31st, 2019, and is legally registered under both the Society Act and the Bombay Charitable Act of 1950. The organization has obtained registration certificates from the Income Tax Department for sections 12A and 80G, which provide tax exemptions to donors. Furthermore, MVP has received recognition for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities from Ministry of Corporate affairs , office of the ROC govt of India , NGO Darpan from NITI Aayog, indicating its commitment to social welfare.
ISO Certification:
In a testament to its commitment to quality and efficiency, MVP has recently obtained an ISO certification. This certification underscores the organization's dedication to maintaining high standards in its operations and services.
Charitable and Social Programs:
Since its inception, MVP has been actively involved in organizing various charitable and social programs aimed at uplifting the community. These initiatives include mega medical camps conducted annually in 2019, 2020, 2023, and 2024, providing essential healthcare services to underserved populations. MVP was distributed ration kits and free medical consultancy during covid pandemic Additionally, MVP has facilitated career guidance programs, distributed laptops, computers, and study materials, and offered financial assistance for admissions, thereby supporting educational endeavors within the community.
Cultural Preservation and Promotion:
MVP places significant emphasis on preserving and promoting the ancient and rich Maithil culture. Cultural programs organized since 2019 . MVP organizes vibrant cultural programs aimed at showcasing the rich Maithil heritage to the younger generation. Through traditional dances, music, and art exhibitions, they provide an immersive experience into the depth and beauty of Maithil culture. Senior Citizen Programs and Women Empowerment:
MVP recognizes the importance of catering to the needs of senior citizens and empowering women within the community. The organization has organized dedicated programs for senior citizens to honor and support them, along with initiatives focused on promoting women's rights and opportunities.
Publication Initiatives:
MVP engages in publication activities, including the annual release of calendars and recently publishing a book titled "Mithila, Maithil, and Maithili". These publications contribute to documenting and disseminating knowledge about Maithil culture, language, and heritage and developments of that region.
Annual Reporting and Transparency:
MVP maintains transparency and accountability by publishing annual reports that detail its activities, achievements, and financial statements. These reports are distributed to members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency in the organization's functioning.
Mithila bhavan Bhoomi Pujan:
Noteworthy among MVP's achievements is the historic program organized for the Bhumi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) of Mithila Bhavan. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including a Central Government Minister, the Chairman of Bihar Vidhan Parishad, MLA Pratap Sirnaik, the Municipal Commissioner of Mira Bhayander, and dignitary IAS and IPS officers, highlighting the significance of the occasion and MVP's endeavors.
